CPS Energy increases stake in Texas nuclear plant

CPS Energy and Constellation Energy will each own 42% of the South Texas Nuclear Project.

The agreement would support various projects, such as the use of hydrogen from nuclear power to store and transmit energy in back-up power, transportation and a variety of other applications.

Emissions

Constellation is highlighting how its nuclear power plants will be used in the production of hydrogen, as well as to power direct air capture (DAC) technology.
