Wood was selected by Sellafield Ltd. as design and engineering partner for the Sellafield decommissioning project in Cumbria, England. 

Unit 2 at Vogtle was returned to service after a planned refueling and maintenance outage which began March 10. The new fuel assemblies contain both pellets and claddings.

The accident-tolerant fuel test assemblies were called the first of its kind to be installed in a commercial nuclear reactor.

The target was developed by the state Department of Energy Resources, and builds on Baker’s $10 million Energy Storage Initiative.
