Kentucky regulators approve some coal retirements, defer others
The 600 MW approved for retirement represent Mill Creek coal-fired Units 1 and 2. The state’s public service commission found there was less of an immediate need to retire the larger Ghent Unit 2 and Brown Unit 3.
