Mon Power and Potomac Edison begin projects to improve wastewater treatment process at coal plants

FirstEnergy subsidiaries Mon Power and Potomac Edison have begun construction on projects aimed at improving the wastewater treatment process at two coal-fired power plants in West Virginia.

Energy Harbor plans fossil fuel exit by end of 2023

Energy Harbor plans to sell or deactivate the remaining coal-fired units at two of its plants in route to becoming 100% carbon-free by the end of next year.
